Ask for more usage
If you’ve hit your monthly limit, you can ask an admin for more.
Next to the limit notice in the chat, click Ask an admin for more usage. The request reaches the admins and tells you “Your request went to the admins.” You ask for yourself, for a fixed amount meant to keep you going for a few days.
What the admin sees
Section titled “What the admin sees”The admin sees your request in Organization → Usage, under Pending requests, and approves or discards it from Review requests. Approving it raises your monthly limit right away.
Sometimes you don’t need to ask
Section titled “Sometimes you don’t need to ask”How it’s resolved depends on how the space is set up:
- On request: you get cut off and have to ask.
- Automatic for everyone, Automatic per user, or Automatic, no limit: if there are credits available, you keep going without asking. You can still ask if you want more.
