Scheduled tasks

A scheduled task is a request the agent makes on its own, when the time comes. It can be something that repeats (every day, on Mondays) or something that runs just once.

You ask the agent for it, in the chat, like anything else. Tell it what you want, how often or at what time, and in which timezone. For example: “Every Monday at 9, put together a summary of the news.”

In the side bar, open Scheduled. There you see all your scheduled tasks with what runs and when. The tabs up top filter them: All, Active, Needs attention, and Finished.

If a task can’t run, it shows a notice and you can expand the reason to see what happened.

The screen brings ready-made ideas (Daily brief, Weekly roundup, Follow-up monitor, Metrics snapshot). Clicking one opens the chat with the request written out; you finish adjusting it there.
