Decide what people can share
In Organization → Data and privacy, the Sharing tab has three switches. They start on, and each one is saved as soon as you change it.
| Switch | If you turn it off |
|---|---|
| Share workspaces | No one can invite people to a project or create or copy share links. |
| Share workspaces that use connectors | The same, but only for projects that have a connector connected (for example, Google or Notion). Other projects can still be shared. |
| Publish blueprints | No one can create a new template or update the code of an existing one. |
Share workspaces that use connectors can only be changed while Share workspaces is on: if you turn the first one off, no project can be shared.
What was already shared stays
Section titled “What was already shared stays”Turning a switch off only stops new sharing. People who already had access to a project keep it, existing links keep working, and published templates stay as they are. To take someone’s access away, the project owner (or whoever invited them) does it from Share workspace (see Share a project with a teammate).
The change can take up to a minute to reach everyone. Admins are covered too: it’s an organization setting, not a personal one.
What everyone else sees
Section titled “What everyone else sees”Anyone who tries to share or publish while the setting is off sees a notice, for example Your organization has turned off sharing workspaces. People who already have access keep it., and can’t invite, create links or publish: those buttons are hidden or disabled.
