Blueprints

A template is a starting point for a project: it holds the code, not your data. When you create a project from a template, you start with what the other person built, but with your own space, your own connections, and your own history.

Explore lists the featured templates in the company space. Open one to see what it does and which connections it needs, or save it with Add to library to keep it handy.

  1. Open the template and check the Required connections. If any says something is missing, configure it right there.
  2. When everything is ready, click Create Gadget.

The project is yours and stays independent from the template: whatever you do later affects no one.

In the project editor, open the Blueprints menu and choose Publish as blueprint…. Give it a title, a description, and a screenshot if you want. You can also describe each connection the template needs, so whoever uses it knows what to connect. Publishing again bumps the template’s version.

Blueprints shows your own and the ones you saved, with Unpublished changes when the project has changed since the last publish.

A project made from a template stays connected to it. When the template changes, Update available appears. Update from blueprint… opens a chat with the proposal: you review it, see what changes, and accept or discard it. Nothing is applied until you accept.
