Using your own domain
You can use an address of your company instead of nouter’s. It has to be a subdomain of the organization’s domains: the card tells you which ones they are.
Add it
Section titled “Add it”- Under Custom domain, type the host (for example
ai.yourcompany.com). - Click Add domain.
- The card shows the record to create in your DNS: CNAME · <label> → <target>.
- Create that record in your domain’s DNS. “DNS only” is enough.
In a few minutes the status moves from Waiting for DNS to Active. While the certificate is being issued, the detail says “Issuing the certificate”. If you want, click Check now to skip the automatic check.
While it isn’t active
Section titled “While it isn’t active”Until the domain becomes active, the workspace keeps working at its nouter address. If the DNS stops responding, the workspace goes back to that address on its own and the card says so with the last good check. Connections that already exist keep working; connecting a new connector waits until the domain is back. When the domain stops responding, and also when it’s working again, admins get an email telling them so.
Remove it
Section titled “Remove it”Remove asks for a confirmation and the workspace goes back to its nouter address. If you use your own OAuth apps (Google, Slack), their callback URLs have to point to the new address.
